The
State Properties Committee, in cooperation with Departments,
Boards, Bureaus, Commissions and Agencies of the State,
exists for the purpose of acquiring, administering and
disposing of interests in land and other real property
for the improvement of State government. The committee
consists of the following members:

A yearly schedule has been established and the committee
meets on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. It has a set agenda which is
established and posted on the previous Thursday. The committee
is authorized and empowered to vote and act on all issues
involving the acquiring, administering and disposal of real
property.
Since its inception in 1953, one of the greatest accomplishments
in recent years has been the development and approval by
the State Properties Committee, through public hearings,
of the adaption of the "Rules
and Regulations Governing Operations of the State Properties
Committee."
